Virtual Nature Center Walk-or-Run
October 9-18
To Support the Walker Nature Center, 11450 Glade Drive
Register online . Adult fee is $25. Children's Fee (ages 12 and under) is $15.
Choose your location and distance (1 mile, 5 or 10K). Tees and bibs provided to registered participants. Post photos using #WalkerRun2020 to be eligible for prize drawings in each distance category. Sincere thanks to our Finish Line Sponsor CDW-G and our prize donors Red's Table and Bare Snacks.

Spring Festival

Free fun for all ages
Join us at this annual event where you can meet Walker the Woodpecker and purchase Dana Scheurer prints and notecards at our booth. The event features entertainment, craft-making for kids and a native plant sale. Enjoy fishing activities or rent a canoe/kayak on Lake Audubon. Summer Shorts Film Festival

Temperatures are hot outside, so join us inside for some of the coolest short films that shed new light on environmental topics in concise, creative and quirky ways. Popcorn and drinks for sale. Reservations recommended due to limited seating. Contact or call 703-476-9689 ext. 5.

Each November, major donors, sponsors and partners join the Board at this invitation only reception at Nature House for highlights from the year and a look ahead at future projects.

Mini-Train Rides at Reston Town Center

Enjoy a journey down the magical streets of Reston Town Center in a mini-train! Pick up is in front of Talbots on Market Street, first come first serve. $5 suggested donation per person is appreciated.

$30 per player, $60 per team
Proceeds to the RA Tennis Scholarship Fund. Format: Round Robin, 2 divisions 3.0-3.5 and 4.0-4.5. Open doubles teams can be mixed or same gender. Storytelling Nights

Join Virginia’s premier storytelling troupe Better Said Than Done for a night of true, personal stories. These unbelievable stories will entertain and show you how life is better in the telling. Advance tickets are recommended due to limited seating. Cash bar and refreshments available for purchase. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. All proceeds benefit the Walker Nature Center.
